Ngezi Platinum Stars Golf Day Blends Sport and Business

THE Ngezi Platinum Stars Football Club has announced the return of its annual corporate showcase, with the second edition of the NPS Golf Day set for Friday, 31 July 2026 at Mulota Hill Golf Club.

Building on the success of the inaugural event, organisers say this year’s tournament is expected to be bigger, attracting participants from the mining, corporate, business and sporting sectors for a day that blends sport, networking and business engagement.

The organising committee has opened registrations for four-ball team entries as well as corporate sponsorship packages, with companies being encouraged to use the platform to enhance brand visibility and strengthen professional relationships within Zimbabwe’s corporate community.

Organisers said the event is designed to go beyond sport, positioning itself as a key networking hub that connects different sectors of the economy.

“The NPS Golf Day is more than a sporting event; it is a platform that connects business, community and sport,” said Ngezi Platinum Stars chief executive officer Amanda Lieto-Nyanzero. “We look forward to welcoming both returning and new partners as we continue building meaningful relationships that extend beyond the fairways.”

Last year’s inaugural edition was well received, laying the foundation for what organisers now hope will become a key fixture on Zimbabwe’s corporate sporting calendar.

The club says preparations are already underway to ensure a smooth and expanded experience for participants, with increased participation expected this year as interest grows from both established companies and emerging businesses.

The NPS Golf Day is part of the club’s broader engagement strategy aimed at strengthening ties between football, industry and community development in the Mhondoro-Ngezi region and beyond.
