NetOne Blends Festive Giving With Drive for National Connectivity

NETONE embraced the spirit of Christmas by strengthening both community support and national collaboration during a courtesy visit to the Honourable July Moyo, Minister of Energy and Power Development, as part of its annual Christmas Cheer Campaign.

Led by the Head of Infrastructure and Applications Support Engineering, Tapiwa Paradza, the NetOne delegation, accompanied by Midlands Province Regional Manager Ms Ndebele and Public Relations Manager Ernest Magadzire, used the visit to extend compassion to vulnerable groups. Through the donation of groceries, the company offered practical support to the elderly and orphans, reinforcing its commitment to people-centred development.

Beyond the festive season, the engagement also provided a platform for constructive discussions on strengthening cooperation to advance national connectivity and digital infrastructure. Honourable Moyo reaffirmed his Ministry’s support for NetOne’s efforts to connect the unconnected, highlighting the importance of reliable energy solutions in sustaining telecommunications infrastructure and driving Zimbabwe’s digital transformation.

The engagement reflects NetOne’s alignment with National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) and its growing role in driving technology-led national development. As the company continues to expand its reach, NetOne remains firmly committed to advancing Digital Zimbabwe and supporting His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s vision of inclusive development.
